An Expert Talk for the BS (CSE) 2+2 Dual Degree Programme students was conducted on November 6, 2024, for the ‘Rhetoric and Composition’ course. The eminent expert, Prof. Nigam Dave, Dean at the School of Liberal Studies, PDEU, delivered a talk on “Perceiving the Paralinguistic Gaps through Body Language”. He delved into non-verbal communication and its significance in public forums, showcasing examples from the public addresses and appearances of world leaders, politicians, and celebrities. The session was engaging and insightful as students learnt the nuances of paralinguistics and the strategies to practice effective non-verbal communication.
