The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences has been an integral part of the institution since its inception, with a vision to integrate and nurture language skills, communication skills, human values, social awareness, and critical thinking alongside technical education. Over the years, it has evolved into a dynamic department offering core, common, and minor courses across diverse disciplines, including English, Digital Humanities, Digital Storytelling, Gender and Culture Studies, Design Thinking, Ethics and Values, Rhetoric, Economics, Management, Organizational Behavior, Communication Skills, History and Contemporary India.
The department boasts a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members who employ a constructivist, collaborative, integrative, reflective, and inquiry-based teaching-learning process. Regular pedagogy sessions are conducted to continuously enhance the teaching and learning experience.
